Zamboanga del Sur – Doses of CoronaVac-Sinovac vaccine arrive in the province last Saturday, March 6 at 10:30 am.
Together with the DOH family, PNP and Local government unit representatives, IPHO and Dr. Natzky Cagampang, the provincial health officer, officially received 606 doses of COVID vaccine for provincial health front liners. 315 doses forwarded to Margos Sa Tubig Regional Hospital.
In his remarks, Dr. Cagampang said, “Ang bakuna ang Pag-asa. Ang tanan, katawhan, naproblema unsaon kaha paghunong sa pandemya kay hasta ekonomiya, apektado na,. atong pag asa, ang vaccine ra pero atong time’ma, lisod tungod kay ang paghimo sa bakuna, dili sayon. Now, we are happy that vaccines are finally here.”
The vaccines were delivered securely from Zamboanga Sibugay IPHO with the assistance of PNP and AFP led by Pagadian City Police officer, PLTCOL. Redentor Retusto and 53rd Infantry Battalion 2nd Lt. Magno Relado.
Thereafter, the province has conducted a simulation exercise for vaccine roll out and was successfully done yesterday, March 7, 2021. The said simulation consist of Registration, Screening, Orientation and counseling. Outside the vaccination room, an ambulance is in standby in case of emergencies and adverse effect as reaction or allergies may occur. On the other hand, 10 brave doctors from Margos Regional hospital has already vaccinated yesterday and all of it turns out success.
It is expected that before the 2nd quarter of the year, Vaccines for the people soon will arrive.
