Sorsogon First Congressional District Representative Evelina Escudero tests positive for COVID-19, Gov. Chiz confirms.
Escudero has underwent RT-PCR test in a private laboratory in Manila as requirement for her travel which came out positive last Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
Gov. Chiz said, his mother is asymptomatic and she stays in their house in Manila. The doctor did not require her to bring to hospital. Escudero left for Manila last Friday to attend to an official travel.
Contact tracing is now being conducted in Sorsogon and Manila, Gov. Chiz added.
