DAVAO CITY-   Congressman Alan “Aldu” Dujali (2nd District, Davao del Norte) bared Sunday that he as a newly designated member of the Board of Trustees of the Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) would push for establishment of two DNSC extension schools, one would be in Carmen and the other would be in the Island Garden City of Samal.

He added that courses of the extension school in IGACOS should not run in conflict with those offered by the new public college in the island, and instead offers the DNSC’s specialization on aqua culture, while the extension school in Carmen would focus on agriculture to help the farmers.

He said establishing the extension campuses could greatly help students obtain education via expanded DNSC.

Cong. Dujali represented the Committee on Higher and Technical Education of the House of Representatives in the DNSC Board of Trustees.

DNSC was founded by the congressman’s uncle, Panabo Mayor Gregorio Dujali, with the creation of its forerunner school, the Davao del Norte School of Fisheries (DANSOF) on April 29, 1969.
