The City Health Office, under the guidance of Dr. Benjielita Notada, along with Gerivy Lipio, Nutrition Coordinator, conducted impactful Health Awareness Campaigns for High School and Elementary Students in Barangay Anomar and Barangay Sukailang.

The discussions covered essential topics such as “Pinggang Pinoy/10 kumainments,” Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Notifiable Disease Awareness (dengue, measles, and Leptospirosis), Dental Care, and Reproductive and Mental Health for Adolescents.

This initiative, led by the City Health Office, aims to enhance health awareness within the community, leading to improved health outcomes, reduced healthcare costs, and an overall better quality of life.

This outreach plays a vital role in improving public health and well-being, especially among the younger generation.

The City of Surigao remains dedicated to fostering a culture of health awareness, ensuring a healthier future for all residents. Let’s continue to prioritize health and promote well-being!
