The city health officer explained for those who refused vaccination, choose vaccine brands, or failed to come on their scheduled date, their slot will be given to others.

Aside from these their names will be again placed at the bottom of the list so their vaccination can be rescheduled.

In Zamboanga City, a total of 261,147 were already vaccinated of the number 154,067 got the first dose while 107,080 got the second dose.

These individuals were vaccinated at the city’s vaccination sites which includes: schools, malls, CHO, and health center.

Vaccines available in the city are Astrazeneca, Sinovac, Jansen, Sputnik V, Moderna, and Pfizer.

Fully vaccinated means that they already got the two doses of vaccines and 14 days after their second dose.

The City’s vaccination program will cover 700,000 individuals to achieve herd immunity. At least 70 percent of the population should have Covid-19 vaccinations in order to have herd immunity.

Vaccination is one of the strategy of the city government to curve Covid 19 cases.

Those 18 years old and above who wanted to be vaccinated may register at their health centers or at zambocovax.com
