Gibutyag ni Police Brigadier General Roque Eduardo Vega, director sa Police Regional Office (PRO-7) nga gipakita sa lain-laing police units ang ilang kaandam atol sa pagpahigayon ug Comelec checkpoints gikan sa tungang gabii sa Lunes, Enero 10, hangtud na sa pagka alas 6 sa buntag sa samang adlaw.
“This signals the police’s readiness on strict implementation of checkpoints in different cities and municipalities to address threats in peace and order and public safety as the May 2022 National and Local election is nearing,” giluwatan nga mensahi ni Vega sayo sa adlawng Lunes.

“PRO 7 is grateful for the public’s cooperation and personnel manning the checkpoints, with the presence of poll officers and other representatives on the first day of implementation of Comelec checkpoints in the region. It was successful,” pasalamat ni Vega.
Magpadayon ang pagpatuman sa gun ban ug pagpahigayon ug Comelec checkpoints hangtud sa Hunyo 8, nga maoy official nga pagtapos sa election season sa nasud.
Sud sa election season, kadto lang law enforcers, kinsa on duty, ang gitugtan nga maka dala sa ilang service firearms gawas sa ilang panimalay ug workplaces.

Isip pagpangandam alang sa Mayo 22 elections, gipahibaw ni Vega nga nag umol sab sila ug Regional Election Monitoring Action Center ( REMAC-7) nga nag base sa PRO-7 headquarters sa Osmena Boulevard sa Syudad sa Sugbo.
Gitahasan ang REMAC-7 sa pag monitor sa peace and order situation sa rehiyon ug sa election-related activities 24/7.
“Let us support the government’s measures intended to provide greater security and create conditions for recovery during the crisis. Magtinabangay lang ta!,” awhag ni Vega.
