Bisan sa kadaghan sa mga tawo na niduyog sa Penitential Walk with Mary kagahapong adlawa, Enero 19, 2024, gihulagway sa kapulisan sa Police Regional Office (PRO-7) na generally peaceful ug manageable ang maong kalihukan.
Sa Press Release na gipagawas sa PRO-7 nagbutyag na si “PBGen Anthony A Aberin, PRO7 Regional Director and Task Force Commander Fiesta SeƱor and Sinulog described this yearās event to be peaceful and orderly. The prayer walk attended by large crowd of devotees started at around 3:00 AM from the Guadalupe church with the Caro of the Birhen sa Guadalupe passed by Fuente OsmeƱa Circle going to the Basilica Minore del Santo NiƱo de Cebu Church.”
Dugang pa na maayo ang dagang sa Procession uban sa panaghiusa sa kagamhanan sa dakbayan sa Sugbo, Basilica Minore del Sto. NiƱo, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Phiippine Coastguard, Bureau of Fire and Protection, ubang law enforcement agencies ug force multipliers na nag seguro sa kahapsay ug kalinaw sa publiko.
