Cebu City- Mohangyo ang kagamhanan sa syudad sa Lapu-Lapu ngadto sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) paghatag ug assistance sa 4,000 ka mga workers nga nalakip sa gi retrenched gikan sa lima ka mga kompaniya sa Mactan Export Zone (MEPZ) ug Cebu Light Industrial Park (CLIP) sa dakbayan sa Lapu-Lapu.
