Cebu City – Sa Class A Local Government Units (LGU) s Cebu, nga gilangkuban sa Metro Cebu Cities ug mga kalungsoran, ang minimum wage sa private workers tag ₱ 435 matag adlaw na karon sa non-agricultural jobs ug ₱ 425 matag adlaw sa agricultural jobs.
Ang Class A naglakip sa mga syudad sa Sugbo, Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu, Talisay, Carcar, Naga ug Danao, lakip na sab sa mga lungsod sa San Fernando, Minglanilla, Consolacion, Liloan, Compostela ug Cordova.
Sa Class B LGUs nga wala malakip sa Class A, sama sa Toledo City ug Bogo City, ang minimum nga suholan sa private workers nahimo nang tag ₱ 397 matag adlaw sa agricultural jobs.
Samtang ang Class C nga mga kalungsoran nga wala malakip sa Metro Cebu, ang minimum nga suholan sa mga workers matag adlaw sa non-agricultural jobs, nahimo nang tag ₱ 387 ug ₱ 382 sa agricultural jobs.
Sa domestic workers, ang minimum nga suholan sa chartered cities ug first class municipalities naa na sa tag ₱ 5,500 matag buwan; samtang ang minimum sa ubang munisipalidad nahimo nang tag ₱ 4,500 ang matag buwan.
Matod ni Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Inc. (CCCI) President Charles Kenneth Co nga gidawat sa mga business sector ang umento sa suholan ug ila kining ipatuman karon.
“I think the business sector has accepted the wage hike. I think it’s also that our workers deserve the raise. The prices of basic goods are rising and we also want to take care of our employees as they are vital to running our business,” mensahi ni Co.
