Cebu Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce gisaulog sa dakbayan sa Sugbo

Gisaulog ang ika-23 ka tuig nga kasumaran sa “Filipino and Chinese Friendship Day” ug ang ika-49 ka tuig nga anibersaryo sa diplomatic relations sa Pilipinas ug sa China, sa siyudad sa Sugbo, kagahapong adlawa. Hunyo 9, 2024

Ang kasaulogan sa Cebu Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, gipahigayon sa Social Hall sa dakbayan sa Sugbo.

Sila si Konsehal Edgardo “Jaypee” Labella II, nga maoy nirepresentar ni Acting Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia, kauban si Konsehal Francis Esparis maoy nitambong sa maing kasaulugan.

“As we celebrate this special day, let us honor the enduring friendship between China and the Philippines, and reaffirm our commitment to strengthening the bonds of cooperation, understanding, and mutual respect,” si Konsehal Labella nagkanayon.

Dako ang pasalamat sa kagamhanan sa siyudad sa Sugbo sa mga insek kay dako kini natampo sa kalambuan sa ekonomiya sa Dakbayan.

“Today, the legacy of Chinese influence lives on in the bloodlines of many Filipinos, with prominent businessmen and entrepreneurs tracing their roots back to Chinese ancestry. The contributions of these individuals, both in trade and commerce, have played a significant role in shaping the economic landscape of our nation,” nagkanayon si Labella.

“In Cebu, the mark of the Chinese is everywhere, with the Cebu Chinese community credited for the transformation of the once modest village into the vibrant ‘Queen City of the South’,” dugang pa ni Labella. (Renante Socia Lada)
