Nagmalampuson ang gihimo na buy- bust operations sa kapulisan sa Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) batok sa duha ka mga high-value individuals.
Ang operations gilusad huybis sa kadlawon, Hunyo 9, 2023, sa duha ka managlahing operations sa siyudad sa Mandaue.
Ang mga suspetsado giila nga mao sila si Alvin Serafin Araneta, a.k.a. “Ego”, hingkod ang panuigon, residenti sa Purok Tambis, Barangay Umapad, siyudad sa Mandaue.
Nakuha sa position ni Araneta ang 500-grams sa illegal nga drugas na adunay street value nga PhP3,400,000.00.
Nakasikop usab ang mga sakop sa City Intelligence Unit/City Drug Enforcement Unit, (MCPO) ang usa ka 29-year-old Jufel Menousa Baybay, a.k.a. “Nonoy” nagpuyo sa Corner Larazabal Street and Realty Road, Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
Nikabat usab og 50 grams sa illegal nga drugs nga adunay street value nga P340,000.00.
Ang duha ka mga suspetsado gipahiluna sa Police Regional Office 7 aron mapasakaan og tukmang kaso isip kalapasan sa Sections 5 and 11 of the Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
