Isip kabahin sa padayong kampanya batok sa iligal nga drogas ug sa mga dautang elemento sa katilingban, dako nga kantidad sa iligal nga drogas ang nasakmit atol sa usa ka anti-drug operation niadtong Disyembre 23 sa Dakbayan sa Sugbo.
Ang operasyon bunga kini sa pipila ka bulan nga surveillance ug intelligence gathering nga gihimo sa mga operatiba sa City Intelligence Unit ug City Drug Enforcement Unit sa Cebu City Police Office (CCPO).
Nakuha gikan sa suspek ang 3.010 ka kilo nga iligal nga droga nga gibanabana nga nagkantidad og PHP 20,680,000, kauban ang ubang ebidensya.
Naila ang suspetsado nga mao si Nyzanne Tablante Pepito, 38-anyos, high profile nga drug suspect, menyo, residenti sa Sitio Sudlon, Barangay Lahug, Dakbayan sa Sugbo.
Ang suspek mag-atubang og kaso ilalom sa Republic Act 9165, nga nailhan usab nga Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
“Our significant progress in the fight against illegal drugs is the result of cooperative efforts with law enforcement partners and the community aimed at reducing both supply and demand. We are actively pursuing those who attempt to distribute illegal drugs and will ensure they face the full force of the law,” segon ni PRO-7 Officer-in-Command PBGEn Roy B. Parena.
