The Kagayhaan Bowlers Association, Inc. (KBA) President Commodore Rico C. Borromeo (ret. AFP) and party met with Mayor Klarex Uy Friday, January 6, 2023 as Cagayan de Oro City is set to host the upcoming national bowling tournament to be held on February 22-26, 2023 at the SM Bowling Center, SM Downtown Premier.
The tournament is sanctioned by the Philippine Bowling Federation (PBF), the duly-accredited governing body of ten-pin bowling in the Philippines by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) where PSC Commissioner Olivia “Bong” Coo, Philippine Bowling Federation President Atty. Ed Sanos, and bowling legend Mr. Rafael “Paeng” Nepomuceno are expected to grace the event.
More than 200 top bowlers from all over the Philippines are expected to participate in the event organized by KBA, an association of ten-pin bowlers of Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental, al and other cities and provinces of Mindanao. (Cheleste Simene, photo courtesy by Jay Arancon)
