TWO sports events in December will be discussed in the online session of the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum on Tuesday.
Carl Jammes Martin and former amateur standout Charly Suarez take care of the boxing side in the 11 a.m. public sports program, while Women’s National Basketball League Executive Vice President Rhose Montreal talks about the Season 2021 finals of the only women’s professional basketball league in the country.
Martin, dubbed “Wonder Boy,” goes after the Mark Anthony “El Heneral” Geraldo’s Philippine super bantamweight crown on December 4 at the Elorde Sports Complex.
Suarez, a three-time Southeast Asian Games gold medal winner, will be fighting in the undercard against fellow undefeated Delmar Pellio.
In the second part of the Forum presented by San Miguel Corp., Milo, Amelie Hotel Manila, Braska Restaurant and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., Montreal will be joined by representatives of finals protagonists Paranaque Lady Aces and Taguig Lady Generals to discuss the best-of-three title series beginning December 4 at the Bren Z Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga.
