It is made of stainless metal. The Battle of Surigao Strait Eagles Club is donating this cauldron to the Battle of Surigao Strait Museum which their club was named after it.
Battle of Surigao Strait Eagles Club led by their President Jhun Diray initiated this project for the City Government of Surigao after the original cauldron was missing after the structure was destroyed by Super Typhoon Odette.
Board of Director Ace Espejon said this flame symbolizes the memory, gratitude and love shared by this people who brave this historical naval warfare.
