Atty. Omar M. Mayo, Deputy Administrator for Technical Services from the National Electrification Administration (NEA), officially installed Atty. Gauttier Dupaya as the new Project Supervisor for the Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative, Inc. (INEC).
This was held earlier today and was attended by the Board of Directors and Management Staff of INEC. According to Atty. Mayo, “𝐻𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑖 𝑛𝑎𝑚𝑎𝑛 𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑛𝑔 INEC (INEC is not ailing).
The order has been issued and it is within the prerogative of NEA…” As per NEA Office Order No. 2023-006, “Atty. Dupaya shall perform the following functions, among others: (1) Supervise the management and operation of INEC to ensure the delivery of efficient electric service to member-consumer-owners at the least cost; (2) In consultation with the concerned departments, approve or disapprove EC Board Resolutions; and (3) Perform such other task that may be assigned by the National Electrification Administration (NEA) for the purpose of operational efficiency”.
The Board of Directors and Management Staff of INEC also expressed their support for Atty. Dupaya and their commitment to working closely with him to achieve the cooperative’s goals. (Rod Sadian)
