The series of manhunt operations conducted by Police Regional Office Cordillera has resulted in the successful arrest of 52 wanted personalities from March 20 to 26 2022.
Based on the records from the PROCOR Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD), for the week, Benguet PPO has recorded the highest number of arrests with eighteen (18) wanted personalities arrested followed by Baguio CPO with sixteen (16) arrests, Apayao PPO with nine (9) arrests, Abra PPO with five (5) arrests, Ifugao PPO with three (3) arrests and Kalinga PPO with one (1) arrest.
Highlighting this week’s manhunt operations was the arrest of eighteen (18) individuals listed as Most Wanted Persons, of which, eleven (11) are listed on the Provincial Level, two (2) on the Municipal Level, (3) on the City Level and two (2) in the Station Level.
At the Provincial Level, Rovel Morales, listed as No. 1 was arrested for the crime of Rape; Lendi Valencia, listed as No. 3 was arrested for 3 counts of Rape; Estrella Villafuente, listed as No. 4 was arrested for Estafa; Rimerson Dunggali, listed as No. 5 was arrested for 5 counts of Violation of RA 7610 or the Anti- Child Abuse Act; Melchor Dacumos, listed as No. 5 was arrested for violation of RA 9262 or the Anti – Violence Against Women and their Children Act; Emilia Legaspi, listed also as No. 5 was arrested for Estafa; Jowel Pinading, listed as No. 6 was arrested for Violation of RA 7610; John Lee Patayan, listed as No. 7 was arrested for 2 counts of Frustrated Homicide; Wilmar Gaston, listed as No. 8 was arrested for Carnapping; Benito Gayab and Angelyn Talis, listed as No. 10 for Violation of RA 9262 and Estafa respectively.
At the Municipal Level, Romeo Bacali listed as No. 1 was arrested for the crime of Murder while Ronel Biggayan, listed as No. 4 was arrested for Illegal Logging.
Meanwhile, at the City Level, Keil De Jesus, listed as No. 4 was arrested for Robbery with Homicide; Regina Ebeng, listed as No. 6 was arrested for Illegal Recruitment in large scale; and Joseph Gubat, listed as No. 10 was arrested for the crime of Robbery.
For the Station Level, Cresenia Manalo, listed as No. 1 was arrested for Illegal Recruitment in large scale while Danilo Gatdula, listed as No. 3 was arrested for 2 counts of Sexual Assault and Violation of RA 7610.
