Combined anti-narcotics agents from PDEA and PNP in the region arrested Warren Sison, a call center agent and his bodegero Jojo Onsar from Tinglayan, Kalinga on April 9, 2022 at Kias, Baguio City for selling 600 ml of liquefied marijuana to an undercover agent.
The one week operation trail ended the arrest of the suspects.
In keeping the streets safer, another suspect an 18 year old senior high student from Atok Trail, Loacan, Baguio City and his buddy Genesis Pagaduan of Bakakeng, Baguio City were arrested on March 30, 2022 at Bakakeng Norte, Baguio City. Confiscated from the duo were 6 kilos of marijuana in brick form with a value of 720K.
In Kalinga Province, police and agents overrun marijuana plantation sites worth more than 20M in a series of March operations in the areas of Bugnay and Buscalan in Tinglayan, Kalinga.
PDEA CAR once again warns the public to be vigilant on the presence of psychoactive drugs and report any illegal drug activity in their locality to help deter drug-related crimes.
