The Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod is enjoining all barangay captains of Bacolod City, in coordination with the City Legal Office, City Health Office, and the Office of the City Mayor, to ensure that water refilling stations in the city are compliant with all pertinent permits and documents issued by the City of Bacolod.
The resolution authored by Councilor Claudio Puentevella also directs all barangay captains to monitor, examine, and inspect pertinent documents and permits of all retail water systems or water refilling stations that are operating in their jurisdiction to ensure that these entities are all compliant with the Code of Sanitation and pertinent City Ordinances to protect the health and safety of the general public.
