The City of Bacolod received the Most Business-Friendly Award, one of the categories in the awarding ceremony of The Manila Times’ Top Philippine Model Cities and Municipalities 2023, in Metro Manila recently.
“We have won this award three times already, aside from also consistently topping the Business-Friendly Awards being given by the PCCI annually,” Bacolod Councilor Em Ang said.
Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez’s determination in instituting good governance reforms to promote investments, transparency, accountability, and efficiency in delivering business services, contributed significantly in sustaining economic growth and development, she added.
Councilor Jude Thaddeus Sayson said this is a project of The Manila Times. Being chosen as The Most Business-Friendly City will definitely bring in more investors to the city.
