During their phone conversation last night [June 15], Mayor Bing Leonardia and Mayor Jerry Treñas have agreed to a free flow of sea travel between Bacolod and Iloilo cities starting today [June 16].
However, travelers from Manila and Cebu going to Bacolod via Iloilo City and vice versa are not covered by their agreement.
The two mayors came up with this decision since both cities are under the same category of community quarantine.
They will be drafting a joint declaration to clearly define the parameters of this arrangement.
