BACOLOD CITY – To address concerns in telecommunications services, the Bacolod City government will be providing space in its main lobby for all telecommunication service providers.
This initiative will allow telco companies to establish temporary help desks directly within the city hall premises to better address customer concerns, service interruptions, and restoration timelines for Bacolodnons.
The city government is extending this offer to all telco providers willing to set up and bridge the gap between consumers and service companies.
Mayor Greg Gasataya revealed that the PLDT requested to assign a representative to stay in the BCGC area to handle the problems related to their company.
“We encourage all telecommunications providers to participate so we can provide our residents with the accessible and reliable support they are due,” Gasataya said.
Earlier this week, a PLDT subscriber went to the City Mayor’s Office to complain regarding the delayed restoration of the internet provider’s services in their area.
“I speak for all of us who’s always waiting for updates and asking. The presence of their (Telco) service people are nowhere to be found,” said a concerned citizen from Villa Angela, Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City. (Theresa Mae Dulman via tvds)
