Bacolod: F2F classes approved in 18 NegOcc schools

Bacolod City – The Department of Education in Western Visayas has approved additional recommended schools for the expansion phase of limited face-to-face classes in Negros Occidental.

DepEd regional director Ramir Uytico, in his issued memorandum dated April 25, said that the Regional Composite Team has duly validated the compliance of the submitted list of additional recommended schools by Negros Occidental Schools Division Superintendent Marsette Sabbaluca for the progressive expansion, with School Safety Assessment Tool compliant, concurrence of local government units, parent consent of participating learners, alert level 1 and 2 classifications, action, implementation,  contingency and emergency plans presented to the SDO composite team.

Approved for the implementation of limited face to face classes on the scheduled date set by the schools are Biak na bato, Cabacungan, Cabagna-an Elementary Schools, Pacita Elementary School and Cabacungan National High School-Masulog Extension, all in La Castellana;

Binalbagan National High School, EB Magalona Elementary School, Lopez Jaena National High School, Batea Elementary School, San Isidro Elementary School, Pandanon Silos Elementary School, Isabela Central Elementary School, Amin Moises Elementary School, Libas Elementary School, Cabacungan National High School and EB Magalona National High School – San Isidro Extension.

Uytico also said in his issued memorandum that the Schools Division Superintendent will notify the schools, take the lead in monitoring the implementation, comply with the online data reporting and mobilize resources.

Additional MOOE (Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses) will be downloaded to the Schools Division Office to support the implementation of the limited face-to-face classes in public schools, he added. (Gilbert Bayoran via The Visayan Daily Star, photo courtesy of Sunstar)
