Bacolod City – The management of Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City announced recently that its Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has reached its full capacity due to an increased number of referrals from other medical institutions.

In its issued advisory, CLMMRH said a power outage on February 18 affected its processes, and the management has been on top of the situation until everything comes back to normal. Currently, their bed capacity has been increased to temporarily cater to urgent cases of the department.

Hence, the acceptance of OB-GYN referrals will be limited to extreme emergency cases only, and will be based on the availability of beds.

In the advisory, Medical Center chief Dr. Julius Drilon said that the hospital will strictly enforce the Patient Transfer Coordination Protocol, where all patient transfers must be coordinated through the Hospital Operations Center through the hotline 0939 983 7268 or 0939 985 5214.
