Be informed that at about 2:10 PM of September 20, 2020, Intelligence personnel of Roxas Municipal Police Station (MPS) composed of PSSg. Joremy T. Tabacolde–Team Leader, PCpl. Rolando S. Bantilan Jr., PCpl. Rene A. Kilat and PCpl. Gernan Rey G. Rocha Jr. conducted surveillance for possible illegal cockfighting activity (Tari-tari) at Sitio Muntay, Barangay Denoman, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte.
While heading towards their target area, they met a suspicious person identified later as Radney Acolicol Gecale, 52 yo, married, farmer and a resident of Sitio Muntay, Brgy. Denoman, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte and asked him if there’s any cockfighting activity around.
The team noticed that the suspect was uneasy and performed awkward action like holding his waist which prompted the team to ask the suspect to raise his shirt and turn around. After the suspect raise his shirt, a firearm was exposed.
The team successfully arrested the suspect and conducted inventory in the presence of Hon. Josephine B. Guindoy, Punong Barangay of Barangay Denoman, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte. Recovered from the suspect one-unit SW Caliber 38 Revolver without Serial Number inserted with four live ammunition.
The said suspect is now under the custody of Roxas MPS for documentation and proper disposition.
