Be informed that at about 11:15 PM of September 1, 2020, personnel of Baliguian Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PCpl. Lordgin L. Neri together with DENR- Siocon led by Forest Technician Mahathir L. Sailela conducted an intel driven law enforcement operation on illegal logging activity in Sitio Control, Brgy. Kauswagan, Baliguian, Zamboanga del Norte that resulted to the arrest of Roberto Bade Lumimba, 56 years old and a resident of said place.
Subject person who was caught in the act transporting major forest products (white lawaan lumbers).
Confiscated items were 8 pieces of natural grown trees Lawaan lumber in different dimensions with approximately 64 board feet or .15 cubic meters with estimated market value of ₱ 1, 923.75 and One unit Single motorcycle TMX 155 bearing plate number JI 7815.
All lumbers together with one unit motorcycle were confiscated and were brought by the DENR-Siocon for proper disposition and appropriate filing of cases against the suspect.
