Be informed that at about 11:00 PM of September 1, 2020, PNP personnel of Leon B. Postigo Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PSSg. Renante T. Icamina together with Miller B. Caballero, Deputized Fish Warden conducted seaborne patrol along the Municipal Fish Sanctuary of Brgy. Manil, LB Postigo, Zamboanga del Norte that resulted to the arrest of Roger Elcamel Aliman, 46 years old and Kenth Maghanoy Aliman, 20 years old, both residents of said place.
Subject persons were caught in the act fishing in fish sanctuary of the Municipal seawaters of Leon B. Postigo Zamboanga del Norte.
Subject fishermen were brought at Leon B. Postigo MPS for documentation and subsequently released from custody after issuance of citation ticket while the confiscated catch fish and fishing gear were under the custody of the OMA Fisheries Staff and Bantay Dagat.
