Earlier today, our very own Kristine Paraon bagged the gold medal in the 19-20 Women’s 2,000 meters event in the 2023 World Rowing Indoor Championships held in Missisauga, Toronto, Canada February 25-26.
Paraon’s gold haul is in addition to her silver medal won in the Women’s 500 meters event held Saturday, making her a WORLD CHAMPION in the rowing sports.
Paraon, who hails from Dulian, Upper Bunguiao in the east coast was a medalist in the 2021 Southeast Asian Games. Her coach is Michelle Bader.
