Davao del Norte – Health is wealth. 89th Infantry (MAKATAO) Battalion continuously nurturing its personnel performance excellence wherein individual wellness is vital, hence the exigency of soldiery demands higher level of physical fitness. As part of Morale and Welfare (MOWEL) of personnel, individual soldiers should instill motivation and influence others in maintaining physical fitness at any point of time inside and outside the camp.
LTC. Silas Trasmontero INF (GSC) PA, Commander of 89IB received fitness equipment from AMWSLAI Davao City, personally turned-over by their branch head in person of Mr. Alex T. Gallenero, CPA on 23 1300 October 2020 at H89IB, Brgy New Visayas, Sto Tomas, DDN. The association sponsored one (1) quick smart run motorized treadmill, one (1) exerpeutic elliptical bike wave magnetic and two (2) super ports rubber dumbbell.
These equipment will extend the capacity of the troops to have a healthy lifestyle and effectively ensuring a healthier force to the people it serves. Mr. Gallenero stressed out that the equipment could really help in improving one’s physique, hence, would effectively perform better to the tasks given.
Truly, it embodies their vision that values and empowers the lives of today’s heroes.
The 89 IB is so much grateful for the undying support of the AMWSLAI to make the unit and its personnel more health conscious by providing the necessary materials that could improve and hone the job performance. As always, the MAKATAO will continue building unity and establish good rapport to the stakeholders and its supporters through service commitment. Believing that in unity there is strength.
