Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City – Police Regional Office (PRO)13 opened today, July 7, the 60-day Intelligence Basic Course (IBC) to 79 uniformed personnel at Balanghai Hotel and Convention Center, Butuan City.
PBGEN PABLO G LABRA II, PRO13 director, stated that the training was attended by 50 Police-Commissioned Officers and 29 Police Non-Commissioned Officers from different police units in the region.
Also present during the activity were the personnel of the Intelligence Training Group led by PCOL ARTURO P BRUAL, Group Director, and the Regional Intelligence Division 13.
RD LABRA II, who served as the guest of honor and speaker, challenged the participants to embrace the opportunity citing that the knowledge they gain will be the bedrock of their future endeavors in intelligence operations.
“To aspiring PNP personnel, this is not only for your self-improvement or career advancement but also for the people who expect us to deliver the highest quality of service. Take this training seriously to stay one step ahead of those who seek to disrupt peace and security,” PBGEN LABRA II added.
IBC, which runs for 60 days, aims to provide PNP personnel with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values necessary to conduct intelligence and counterintelligence operations.
