A 65 years old female patient died after 6 hours of admission at Caraga Regional Hospital in Surigao City today, May 11, 2020.
Ma. Cecilia Bayana, CRH Spokesperson said the patient tagged as P17COV was admitted at 10:00AM today but after more than 6 hours or exactly at 4:38PM, she died. A swab sample was taken and sent to Southern Philippines Medical Center for confirmation if she is really negative or positive of COVID-19.
Mayor Reneboy Esma in an interview by RPN DXKS believed the 65 years old female resident of Brgy. Ouano, Alegria is not a COVID-19 patient because the rapid test result was negative. She has no history of travel but she showed symptoms of COVID-19 like fever, cough and difficulty of breathing. While waiting for the confirmation, the immediate family members are already quarantined, Mayor Esma added. (jc | RPN DXKS)
