Four (4) individuals arrested while ₱ 2, 120, 000.00 worth of Cocaine seized by the police operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 led by PMAJ. Elmer Perez Solon together with Regional Intelligence Division 9, PDEA and 904th Company of RMFB9 in a law enforcement operation against illegal drugs at P. Lorenzo St., Brgy. Zone-4, Zamboanga City at 5:00 PM of September 28, 2020.
PBGEN Jesus D Cambay, Jr, PRO9 Regional Director, identified the arrested as Jawawi Landasan Alih aka “Jhonny”, 25 years old, male, married, unemployed, college level and a resident of Brgy. Suterville, Zamboanga City, Abdel Joran Nasser, 24 years old, male, married, unemployed, college level and a resident of Brgy. Campo Islam, Zamboanga City, Leo Myr Dela Calzada Toribio, 35 years old, male, married, unemployed, college level and a resident of Brgy. Sangali, Zamboanga City and Alfred Rico Alvarez, 42 years old, male, single, unemployed, college graduate and a resident of Brgy. Tetuan, Zamboanga City.
Recovered during the operation were Four (4) packs of suspected cocaine weighing more or less 400 grams with an estimated DDB value of ₱2, 120, 000.00 and ₱ 1, 000.00 as marked money with ₱ 1, 199, 000.00 as bogus money.
Arrested suspects were now under the temporary custody of said police station while the recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Lab Office for proper disposition.
PBGEN Cambay, Jr. commended the Zamboanga City Police Office under PCOL. Rexmel G. Reyes and other operating units for a job well done.
