3 Most Wanted Persons Nabbed In Separate Ops On Holy Week

Camp Col. Rafael C. Rodriguez, Butuan City – Police operatives arrested three suspects tagged as most wanted persons in municipal level in separate operations in Agusan del Sur on Black Saturday and Easter Sunday.

PNP Caraga director POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL ROMEO M CARAMAT JR. disclosed that Rondie R. Quitos a.k.a. Tata, 42 years, was arrested today (April 4) around 11:45 AM in his residence in Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Rosario, Agusan del Sur through alias warrant of arrest for murder issued by the Regional Trial Court (RTC) 10th Judicial Region, Branch 6, Agusan del Sur without bailbond.

Quitos, listed as top 1 most wanted person in Rosario town, was the suspect in the shooting incident that killed his neighbor Ronnie Jeron in 2015.

On the same day, police officers also arrested Jose T. Pintado, 62 years old, resident of Brgy. Alegria, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, and listed as top 2 most wanted person in the municipality of San Francisco.

He was arrested through the warrant of arrest issued by the RTC Branch 6 for frustrated murder and violation of RA No. 10591 (Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition) with recommended bail bond of ₱ 40,000.

According to the investigator, Pintado was among the group of assailants who attacked the personnel of San Francisco Water District manning the watershed on September 19, 1993.

Confiscated from him were one homemade shotgun with five rounds ammunition, and caliber .38 revolver loaded with four rounds of ammunition.

Meanwhile, Ranil P. Narvasa, miner, with standing warrant of arrest for theft of minerals, and listed as Rosario town’s top 8 most wanted person was arrested last Saturday (April 3) in Brgy. Wasian, Rosario, Agusan Del Sur.

The operation was based on the order of the 1st Municipal Circuit Trial Court of San Francisco-Rosario-Bunawan in Agusan del Sur with recommended bail bond of ₱ 12,000.

Based on investigation, Narvasa committed the crime in July 2017 at Philsaga Mining Corporation in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur.

RD CARAMAT, JR. commended his operatives for all-out efforts of implementing the warrants of arrest issued by the local courts amid the observance of the Holy Week.

PNP Chief POLICE GENERAL DEBOLD M SINAS had earlier stressed out that the series of arrests of most wanted persons nationwide were made in accordance with the persistent implementation of Manhunt Charlie.
