Three of the five suspected carnappers killed in an encounter with the members of the Highway Patrol Group Special Operation Division Cordillera and Tuba Municipal Police Station in Marcos Highway, Tuba, Benguet in the early morning of June 30 have been identified by their relatives police report said.
In a progress report issued by Police Regional Office Cordillera on the alleged hijacking incident, at about 7:00 PM of July 02, 2021, the relatives of three of the suspects came and were escorted by investigators at Damayan Funeral Homes wherein they identified their relatives.
The suspect who was wearing PNP Athletic T-shirt, camouflage green pants and black leather shoes was identified by his mother as David Dassala Rapal Jr., 40 y/o, jobless and a resident of San Fernando, Pampanga. According to his mother, he was fetched by Ryan Pangilinan at their residence in San Fernando at about 11:30 AM of June 28, 2021 and never return home since then.
The other suspect wearing pink t-shirt and light blue maong pants was identified by his sister, Ryan Amurao Pangilinan, 41 y/o, a truck driver and a resident at Mexico, Pampanga. According to his sister, his brother went to work in the morning of June 28, 2021 and never return home since then. It was learned that David B. Rapal Jr. were released last April 2021 at San Fernando Provincial Jail for violation of RA 9165 and Ryan Pangilinan was his cellmate.
Suspect wearing orange t-shirt and maong pants was identified by his brother as Relly Amurao Castillo, 43 y/o, a construction worker and a resident of Arayat, Pampanga. According to his brother Marcial, Relly informed him to work as truck helper of Ryan Pangilinan on June 27, 2021 and never return home.
