Camp Bado Major Dangwa La Trinidad, Benguet – 21 individuals were arrested after Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) operatives and CIDG-Cordillera implemented a search warrant for violation of PD 1602 (Prescribing Stiffer Penalties on Illegal Gambling) in the evening of March 29, 2021 at Hilltop, Kayang, Baguio City.
In a report submitted to the Regional Director PBGEN RWIN S PAGKALINAWAN, operatives from BCPO implemented OPLAN OLEA (Bolilyo) where they are able to confiscate cash amounting to ₱ 8,644.00 in different denomination; Playing Cards; 1 Hisense Television; 1 PLDT Home Fiber Model; 1 PLDT Home Fiber Box and tables and chairs believed to be used by suspects in their gambling or online cockfighting activities at the said place.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to CIDG Regional Office for proper documentation. (PROCOR RPIO)
