PNP personnel of Kumalarang Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted police operation against illegal cockfighting at Purok 2, Brgy. Boyugan East, Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur at 4:30 PM of January 3, 2021.
This resulted in the arrest of Maximiano Soledad Lesondra, male, 48 years old, married, farmer; and Ruel Gionson Basco, male, married, 42 years old, fishpond caretaker; both residents of Purok Malig, Brgy. Poblacion, Kumalarang Zamboanga del Sur.
Confiscated evidences were six fighting cocks and one gaff. Subject persons and confiscated evidence were brought to Kumalarang MPS for proper disposition.
