The 136th Malasakit Center was launched Saturday afternoon at Labuan General Hospital located at barangay Labuan Zamboanga City.

Senator Christopher Lawrence Go said, “Target ng malasakit center zero balance para wala na kayong babayaran sa inyong pag papa ospital.”

He also instructed for the hospitals to place express lane for Person’s With Disability (PWD) and Senior Citizens.

This is the third Malasakit Center for Zamboanga City. The first was at Zamboanga City Medical Center, Mindanao Central Sanitarium General Hospital, and Labuan General Hospital.

“Dati isang lingo hihingi ng tulong saan saan ahensiya ng gobyerno. Ito one stop shop, isang araw tapos ang proseso,” the senator said.

The malasakit center is a one stop shop where the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, Department of Health, Department of Social Welfare and Development, and PhilHealth are there.

To avail the service of the malasakit center, the only requirement is you must be a Filipino citizen. (R.G. Antonet A. Go)
