Joint operatives of Tigbao Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PCPT. Mario A. Regidor and 2nd Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted law enforcement operation against illegal mining at Purok 3, Lusaran, Busol, Tigbao, Zamboanga del Sur at 10:45 PM of October 1, 2020.
The operation resulted in the arrest of ten suspects identified as Jose Relion Requina, 49 years old, Renzo Catungal Fernando, 21 years old, single, Ananias Tugahan Dumabok, 42 years old, Tommy Balvis Caling, 24 years old, Ervie Halasan Trejeros, 26 years old, Jesus Omalsa Carpio, 57 years old, Arjey Esparaguera Dumaboc, 20 years old, Lowell Tagao Asingua, 26 years old, Eddie Tiwanac Atis, 22 years old, Arnold Danago Halasan, 35 years old, all residents of Brgy. Nilo, Tigbao, Zamboanga del Sur.
The said suspects, who allegedly involved in the illegal small-scale mining, are now under the temporary custody of Tigbao MPS for proper disposition. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
