Davao del Norte: A total of P695,286,000 Social Amelioration Program (SAP) fund, one month allocation is due for 115,81 beneficiaries in the province of Davao del Norte.
Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD-XI) SAP Davao del Norte Focal, Ma. Teresa Ganiola reported on Monday to Davao del Norte Provincial Governor Edwin Jubahib that SAP Fund had been transferred to LGUs of Davao del Norte, except for the Municipality of Talaingod.
In a query this afternoon, Ganiola said SAP fund transfer for Talaingod “has been processed” as the MLGU has already submitted the MOA.
DSWD has turned over SAP fund total of P21,780,000 to the Municipality of Asuncion for 3,630 beneficiaries; P21,030,000 to Braulio E. Dujali for 3,505 beneficiaries; P46,404,000 to Carmen for 7,734 beneficiaries.
DSWD XI has also transferred P146,706, 000 to Panabo City for 24,451 beneficiaries; P221,790,000 to the City of Tagum for 36,965 beneficiaries; P64,206,000 to the Island Garden City of Samal for 10,701 beneficiaries.
DSWD XI made another round of SAP fund transfer of P39,558,000 to Kapalong for 6,593 beneficiaries; P25,566,000 to New Corella for 4,261 beneficiaries; P9,510,000 to San Isidro for 1,585 beneficiaries; P90,864,000 to Sto Tomas for 15,144 beneficiaries; and P7,872,000 to Talaingod for 1,312 beneficiaries.
In an interview during the One Davao Presser conducted by PIA Regional Director Frances Mae Macapagat, DSWD Regional Director Grace Subong said that “LGUs are given seven days upon receipt of the funds “ to distribute such to the valid beneficiaries.
LGUs with geographically isolated and depressed areas, “are given 10 days to give out the funds to the recipients,” she added. (PIA XI/ Jeanevive Duron Abangan)
