Police personnel of Regional Civil Security Unit 9 led by PMAJ. Ricardo C. Banes Jr. together with Ipil Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted joint operation against the violators of RA 7183 known as “An Act Regulating The Sale, Manufacture, Distribution And Use Of Firecrackers And Other Pyrotechnic Devices” at Freedom Stage, Brgy. Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay Province at 3:00 PM of December 31, 2020.
The operation resulted to the confiscation of assorted firecrackers with an estimated value of five hundred thousand (₱ 500,000) pesos.
The said firecrackers were brought to Ipil MPS for proper disposition.
