Baguio City – Fully grown marijuana plants valued at ₱ 20.23 million were destroyed in a raid conducted by anti-narcotics operatives in Kalinga on Wednesday August 25.
A combined team of the Kalinga police, Naval Forces, Northern Luzon and other Cordillera police units raided ten plantation sites in Barangay Loccong, Tinglayan town where some 87,950 fully grown marijuana plants were found.
The raiding team also recovered at least 20 kilos of dried marijuana leaves in the area.
No one was arrested in the anti-narcotics operations.
