The City Government of Iriga City conducted a blessing ceremony today for 10 newly purchased government vehicles to modernize and to boost the city’s mobility and service capabilities.
The newly acquired units include three (3) Toyota Tamaraw FX, two (2) Toyota Innova, three (3) dump trucks, one (1) Toyota Grandia, and one (1) pick-up truck. These additions bring the total number of vehicles procured under the administration of Mayor Rex Oliva to 42.
Mayor Oliva emphasized that these acquisitions are part of the cityโs commitment to enhancing government operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, and responding effectively to the needs of Irigueรฑos. The vehicles will be deployed to various departments to improve public service, particularly in infrastructure, emergency response, and community outreach.
The blessing was officiated by Fr. Tito Oliva which was was attended by city officials, members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, department heads, and employees, marking another milestone in the city.
