    The 3rd Bicol Artists’ Congress was successfully held in Iriga City on February 10-12, where it brought together Bicol artists to celebrate and promote the region’s rich artistic heritage.
    As part of the congress, the Iriga City Government hosted the Mayor’s Night on February 11, featuring an Awarding Ceremony for Living and Deceased Visual Artists. The event paid tribute to Bicolano artists whose contributions have enriched the local art scene.

    As a gesture of gratitude for Iriga City’s warm hospitality and for hosting the Mayor’s Night, delegates from various provinces presented Mayor Rex Oliva with their art pieces.

    The 3rd Bicol Artists’ Congress was a three-day event with different activities which include an art workshop for indigenous children, an engaging Art Talk featuring DOT Regional Director Hebie Aguas and DTI Regional Director Dindo Galvo Nabol as a guests of honor, and participation in the Tinagba Parade, where artists showcased their talents through body painting.
