Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City—— Police Regional Office 13 culminated 27th PCR Month Celebration with the theme: “Ugnayang Pulisya at Komunidad Tungo sa Mapayapa, Maayos at Maunlad na Pamayanan”, highlighting the giving of awards to police units and individuals today, July 28.
Governor of Agusan del Norte, Honorable Maria Angelica Rosedell Amante-Matba, ably represented by Vice-Governor, Honorable Enrico R Corvera, Atty. Johnson G. Reyes, Regional Director, NAPOLCOM CARAGA, and PNP Caraga stakeholders graced the ceremony.
Vice-Governor Corvera emphasized in his statement the importance of continuing to make friends and support the community, as well as the fact that police-community relations activities should take place every day of the year, not just in July.
“We civilians acknowledged PNP Caraga as partners in the progress of the community” he added.
He also lauded the awardees for displaying extraordinary acts in public service and expressed his appreciation to the men and women of Police Regional Office 13 who painstakingly worked hard to provide quality police service to the people of Caraga.
Outstanding Unit awards were given to Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office as Outstanding Police Provincial Office; Bayugan City Police Office as Outstanding City Police Station; and Bunawan Municipal Police Station as Outstanding Municipal Police Station.
Individual outstanding awards were given to NUP Tracee Joy O Barce as Outstanding PCAD NUP; Police Executive Master Sergeant Ranilo D Malong as PCAD Senior PNCO; Police Staff Sergeant Mashjul S Nami Jr as Outstanding PCAD Junior PNCO; POLICE CAPTAIN JULIUS D VALLEJO as Outstanding PCAD Junior PCO; POLICE Lieutenant TESSIEL R MOLETA as Outstanding PCAD Senior PCO
Stakeholders from RFB Construction Corporation, Lasaya RCA Builders Incorporated, Agusan Filipino Chinese Fire Brigade Volunteer Inc., Golden Tara Eagles Club, PNP Corps, KKDAT, Filipino Chinese Chamber, and stakeholders from The Fraternal Order of Eagles were also given certificate of appreciation for their invaluable support and involvement in the conduct of various Police community Relations projects, programs and activities of PRO13 that immensely contributed to the peace and development.
“Keep up the good work and rest assured that the Provincial Government of Agusan del Norte through the leadership of Governor Maria Angelica Rosedell Amante-Matba, plead that we will always help PNP Caraga to whatever we can. So let us continue this Police Community Relations Activity to maintain peace and order in this region,” Vice-Governor Corvera concluded.
