Pagpapatupad ng TRAIN hindi ihihinto ni Pangulong Duterte; Rice hoarders, binalaan ng pangulo

Nanindigan si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na hindi ititigil ang pagpapatupad ng Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion o TRAIN Law.

Sa kanyang State of the Nation Address, sinabi ng pangulo na sa pamamagitan ng TRAIN Law ay nakapag – generate ito ng pondo para sa mga proyekto ng pamahalaan.

Iginiit din ni Pangulong Duterte na hindi tamang isisi sa TRAIN Law ang pagtaas ng mga pangunahing mga bilihin.

Umaasa naman si Pangulong Duterte na malalagdaan ang phase 2 ng Tax Reform Law bago matapos ang taon.

“This matter is urgent … I hope to sign the package before the year ends, I urge the congress to pass it in form that satisfy and serves the interest of the many. By the end of July 2018, all of the packages of the Tax Reform have been submitted to the congress. Apart on TRAIN, rice tariffication and package to include the mining, tobacco and alcohol tax increase reform in property evaluation, reform in capital income, and financial taxes and an amnesty program. I urge the Congress to take it seriously and ask them in succession or there is no chance that we can deliver our promise without an equitable tax system”.

Kasabay nito, binalaan ni Pangulong Duterte ang mga rice cartels na nagmamanipula sa supply at presyo ng bigas.

Inatasan din ng pangulo ang mga concerned agencies na habulin ang nasa likod ng economic sabotage.

Dahil dito, nananwagan si Pangulong Duterte sa kongreso na magpasa ng batas na magpapaganda sa pag-angkat ng bigas ng bansa.

“I now ask all the rice cartels and their protectors, you know that I who you are. Stop messing the people. I hate that the power sometimes is not a good thing but I hope I will not have to use it against you. And directing all intelligence agencies to unmask the perpetrators on economic sabotage our law enforming agencies to bring them to justice. We are also working into long term solutions on top of this agenda to lower the price of rice.
