CELSO LOBREGAT ASK CONSIDERATIONS FOR TEMPORARY INCONVENIENCE ON THE START OF FLY-OVER PROJECTS IN ZAMBOANGA CITY

House of Representatives Committee Chairman on Public Works and Highways and Congressman Celso Lobregat is appealing to the public to bear with the inconvenience about the disturbance and pending traffic problem to be caused by the implementation of the two fly-over projects in the city which is due implementation this month.

Lobregat said that he understands the plea of the public about the inconvenience caused by the road blocks and foundation diggings which will be initiated by FREY-FIL CORPORATION, the contractor who won the bidding for the two gigantic projects here in Zamboanga City which being funded by the national government thru the initiative of the solon.

Lobregat recently met with the DPWH Regional and District Officials and other government agencies and utility providers in order to discuss matters on remedies about the impediments on this huge project.

“I would like to apologize to the public for the road in-convenience, but this is temporary in nature because we are trying to resolve the traffic congestion problems in our city, this fly-over project is one of the major solutions, there are more projects to come from the national government which will benefit our city,” Lobregat said.

The multi-million projects facilitated by the solon as implemented by the DPWH contractors is presently in full swing in Zamboanga City is triggering progress and decongesting the traffic flow major thoroughfares of the city.

Congressman Lobregat said that the two fly-overs worth 600 million along MCLL-Gov.Camins-Veterans Avenue junction and Labuan-Limpapa Gabilan-San Roque road junction which is now in its initial stage.

“As you can see, we are lucky enough because it is the national government resolving the traffic problems of our city, we just have to be patient with its temporary effects,” Lobregat said.

Congressman Lobregat recently met with DPWH Region 9 and District officials, utility providers and the local government representatives to find remedies in the temporary traffic congestion which will be caused by the construction of the two fly-overs worth 600 million along MCLL-Gov.Camins-Veterans Avenue junction and Labuan-Limpapa Gabilan-San Roque road junction, which will be implemented this month.
