A Zamboangueña was appointed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte last August 3 as Tourism Undersecretary and took her oath Friday with Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo Puyat.
Myra Paz V. Abubakar, Tourism Assistant Secretary was promoted by the President to Tourism Undersecretary.
“Ayuda kita in the way that we can as we now see the needs not only of Zamboanga and Region 9.” Abubakar said.
She said, she will stay here till the Enhanced Community Quarantine in Manila will be over. She will also wait for her assignment to be given by the Tourism Secretary.
Abubakar was a former city councilor then appointed by the president to Regional Director, to Assistant Secretary, and now Undersecretary. (R.G. Antonet A. Go)
