The Tourism Quiz Bee competition in both the college and senior high school levels was held Sunday, December 10, as part of the Exposicion de Viajes en Zamboanga Year 4.
For the college level, Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) captured the first prize with the Zamboanga Peninsula Polythechnic State University (ZPPSU) finishing second place. The Southern City Colleges (SCC) placed third.
Meanwhile, the Zamboanga City High School took home the grand prize in the Tourism Quiz Bee Senior High School Category. Second placer was the Brent Senior High School while Western Mindanao State University settled for third place.
The Quiz Bee was one of the highlights of Day 2 of the Exposicion de Viajes en Zamboanga Year 4 Sunday, December 11 at the KCC Mall in Gov Camins.
The EDVEZ is organized by the City Government under the leadership of Mayor John Dalipe through the City Tourism Division as part of Tourism promotion efforts.
