The Zamboanga City Integrated Bus Terminal has provided a new office for the staff of the City Treasurer’s Office (CTO) assigned at the said facility.
The renovation of the CTO at the terminal was done together with the rehabilitation and improvement of the comfort rooms at the Departure Building.
The new office has a collection booth, staff area, and its own and exclusive comfort room. CTO staff will no longer have to leave their post to go to the common comfort rooms outside their office. The CTO office is fully secured and ensures the safety of both collectors and the money collected from the passengers. Moreover, the office is also fully air-conditioned.
The CTO staff in the terminal is assigned to collect passenger terminal fees, bus parking fees, and parking fees for vehicles at the arrival parking.
The ZC – IBT Management has requested the City Engineer’s Office to also turnover the said office together with the renovated comfort rooms before Holy Week 2022. The construction of the said office and renovation of the comfort rooms started in 2021.
