Heavy equipment is deployed to the landslide-hit portion in Anuling, Upper Pamucutan and in other areas affected by the rain-induced mudslides for clearing operations, as personnel from the City Engineer’s Office, City Mayor’s Office and other concerned agencies conduct site inspection and ground work for the immediate repair of facilities destroyed during the floods spawned by continuous rains January 11.
Mayor John Dalipe has ordered the City Engineer’s Office and other concerned departments and agencies to exhaust all means to expedite repair/ reconstruction of infrastructure projects damaged by severe flooding.
